KMP is contracted by arrangement of the Sheffield City Council CYPD as a provider for the delivery of vocational training to 14-16 year olds.
The broad aim of the provision commissioned by the CYPD is to contribute to the following:

Futureproof SCREAM (Sound creation, recording, editing, and music) programme*
*This programme is currently on hold as we are seeking funding to set up the project with suitable equipment.
Through delivery of our 'SCREAM' project, our Creative Music Technology course aims to develop knowledge and understanding of the culture and aesthetics of musical composition, realised through the use of electric and electronic technology. Students develop critical thinking and autonomy when undertaking the investigation and creative applicationof the use of technology in musical composition and related sub-disciplines. Through a continual process of investigation, students will be exposed to a range of musical experiences that will challenge their preconceptions of what music is, and how musical composition is conceived.
