A look at the KMP team.

Heather Ricks
Heather is the Project Manager of Kelvin Media Productions. She has eight years experience working with KS4 students and has been managing KMP for the last twelve months.
Reporting to a Board of Trustees, the roles at KMP involve interviewing, recruiting, training, supervising and appraising staff; in addition, Heather is ultimately responsible for numerous students.
The role also involves taking care of all aspects of HR within the company, updating, reviewing and creating office policies, chairing monthly staff meetings and coordinating the projects operating within the premises, including completing regular financial reports for Funders and Trustees - checking that outputs and targets are being achieved.
Additionally, the role involves being responsible for the budget and all aspects of finance within the company, which also includes obtaining additional funding. Heather is trained in all aspects of examination procedure including invigilation and was recently approved to register as an ASDAN Coordinator for CoPE Level 1 and 2.
John Sulph-Johnson
John is our VSP Tutor, E2e Co-Ordinator and Subject learning Coach, he has a background in fashion and has previously designed and produced his own urban fashion line.
John has been employed as a tutor with KMP for the last 2 years working with learners from 14 – 19 yrs old.
He has studied the Certificate in Youth Work at level 2, Accredited Team Teach Foundation in Positive Handling within a Holistic Framework, Pebble Pad Learning, Adobe Photoshop Elements and a City and Guilds level 3 in Preparing to Teach in The Lifelong Learning Sector (PTTLS).
John is a coach with Sheffield United Academy where he is working towards the F.A Certificate in Coaching level 2.

Yomi Omogbeja
Yomi is the Web Editor/ICT Tutor. He is also pursuing his Doctorate in new media /ICTs research at the Department of Journalism Studies, University of Sheffield.
His research interests are in the area of New Media and Internet, Social Communications, Information Communication Technologies, Education, Professional Virtual Communities and Corporate Social Responsibility.
Jo Kirby
Jo has over three years’ experience of working with young people helping learners to gain qualifications and move into something positive. She has specialist teaching skills in literacy, having gained the Adult Literacy Teaching Level 4 qualification.
Jo has a first class BA(Hons) Graphic Arts and Design degree and has previously worked as a freelance graphic designer. She enjoys working as a tutor and helping others to develop their skills.
Outside of KMP, she enjoys developing her own creative skills including painting, drawing and photography.
