Over the last few months we have been very productive and seen various changes at KMP.
We are now running a Futureproof Music programme that we have called SCREAM (Sound Creation, Recording, Editing and Music). This is being run by Ezekiel who has created a 12 week course using the latest music software as a taster in music technology.
Our Media Tutor Kevin Scott has recently left the KMP Team and we wish him success in anything he does in the future. Staff and learners would like to say a massive thank you for his dedication and commitment to KMP.
We have recruited two new members of staff to the KMP Team since Kevins departure. Our new Media Tutor is David Warburton and our new Music Tutor is Ezekiel Roberts. Both have a wealth of skill and experience in their respective subjects. We currently have places on both of these Futureproof courses for NEETS aged 16-19. Contact Connexions for more information.
The numbers of VSP learners have increased and we now have some fantastic volunteer Support Workers that work alongside them. The learners are working towards literacy and numeracy and the ASDAN Expressive Arts Award.
We are also still running our UK Online Centres drop in sessions on a Wednesday (morning/afternoon) and Friday (morning) for anyone over 16 who needs support using computers and getting online. May is also the time to Face Your Online Fears and be in with the chance of winning a laptop!
